By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

This policy applies to Go Sho app published on Google Play Store.

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Identity Data: Full name, username, CNIC or driving license details (for vehicle listings/bookings).
  • Contact Data: Email address, phone number (for account creation and communication).
  • Financial/Transaction Data: Payment information (processed securely by third-party payment providers – we do not store full card details).
  • Other: Any information you provide while using our services (bookings, listings, support queries).

 

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, advertising ID (Advertising ID).
  • Usage Data: App interactions, session duration, pages/screens visited, crashes, and diagnostics.
  • Location: Approximate location (derived from IP or device settings) for better service and advertising.

 

C. Information from Third-Party SDKs (especially AdMob) Our App uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to show advertisements.

AdMob automatically collects and may share the following data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention purposes:

  • Advertising ID / Device identifiers
  • Approximate location
  • App activity / interactions
  • Crash logs and diagnostics
  • Device information

3. How We Use Your Information We use collected data for:

  • Providing and improving our core services (vehicle rental/tour bookings).
  • Account management, authentication, and customer support.
  • Processing transactions.
  • Personalized advertising via AdMob (you can reset your advertising ID in device settings to limit personalization).
  • Analytics, app performance, security, and fraud prevention.
  • Complying with legal obligations under Pakistani law (PECA 2016 etc.).

 

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share data with:

  • Google (via AdMob and other Google services) for advertising and analytics.

  • Opt-out of Personalized Ads: Go to your device settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (or reset Advertising ID).
  • You can uninstall the App to stop further data collection.
  • For EEA/UK users: You have additional GDPR rights (we process data accordingly where applicable).

 

7. Data Security We use reasonable security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. We limit access to data on a "need-to-know" basis.

 

8. Data Retention We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned or as required by law.

 

9. Children's Privacy Our App is not intended for children under 13 (or 18 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it.

 

10. International Data Transfers Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Pakistan (including the United States by Google). We take appropriate safeguards where possible.
